365 Day Transformation: Health = HEAL. How I lost 100 lbs in 1 Year.

Updated: May 22, 2019

Ever wonder where you will end up a year from now? You've made changes to heal your body and have committed to riding out the journey, but the hard work and enormity of it is overwhelming. I want to encourage you to keep going.

The following is a post I shared on my Facebook May 13, 2019, to celebrate 365 days of healing. Your journey may be different than mine, but I know for sure that the benefits you experience will be 100% as amazing for your health.

-Andrea Nicole

Today marks a special day in my health journey. One year ago I set out to aggressively treat years of chronic pain through diet, and as many natural supports as I could. Through proper diagnosis (after months of searching) and effective changes to my routine, I was able to get to the root cause of so many of my seemingly, “mysterious” symptoms.

My eventual goal, once pain free, was going to be to focus on my weight. With underlying conditions and skewed hormones I was never able to loose the weight I gained during pregnancy and despite how healthy I was trying to be, the weight continued to pile on.

I am here to tell you that just as my Dr. predicted, as I began to fix the underlying issues, everything else along the way fell into place. I focused on healing my body and as I did, the weight literally fell off. It still blows my mind...

Andrea Nicole: 100 lbs Before and After

Today, I am 100 lbs lighter, 80% pain free, and full of more life and energy than I was 365 days ago.

I struggle with the vulnerability of this post, but wanted to share my experience as a way of encouraging anyone who may be struggling with their health. Please, friends, DO NOT give up looking for answers! All things are possible even when they feel impossible. Find practitioners that support and encourage you, and listen to you. Start with one change at a time and see where it takes you....

I want to especially thank everyone who has supported me along the way. Those two words don’t seem enough -but it has meant the world to me. Not only is it an intense physical journey, but has been an extremely emotional one as well. Last week, I completed my first 10k Run4Health -something I NEVER would have fathomed being able to do.

Be fierce in the fight for your health, and remember, you are never alone.

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade

..... ❤️
